Metropole Orkest and NPO Radio 2 Soul & Jazz present a third Dutch Jam, this time dedicated to soul music. Get your platform shoes out, put on your bell-bottoms and Renew Your Soul with the Metropole. On Friday evening, January 15 at 8:30 PM (GMT +1), the orchestra takes to the stage with great Dutch soloists Steffen Morrison, Sabrina Starke, Edsilia Rombley, Lo van Gorp and Raquel Brown. During the “Metropole Studio Sessions: Dutch Soul Jam”, the Metropole Orkest focuses on pieces from the history of soul, largely from the orchestra’s rich archive. Music by Gladys Knight & The Pips, Bill Withers, James Ingram, Smokey Robinson, Van McCoy, Quincy Jones, Curtis Mayfield, Cory Wong and own work by Steffen Morrison.
